This notice explains how CMYK Summit Sdn Bhd, trading as CMYK Interior Design ("CMYK", "we"), handles personal data, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It applies to this website, our enquiry forms, our client portal and the services we provide.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone / WhatsApp number, email address.
- Details about your property and project: type, location, size, budget, timing, requirements, floor plans and photos.
- For clients: quotations, signatures on quotations, payment schedules, messages and project records in the client portal.
- For subcontractors: name, contact details, trade, rates and the hours you log.
- Basic technical information when you use our website, such as your IP address and browser type, for security.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange consultations and site visits.
- To prepare designs and quotations, carry out and manage your project, and keep you updated.
- To invoice, keep accounts and meet our legal obligations.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
We do not sell your personal data. If we would like to send you marketing messages, we will ask first, and you can stop them at any time.
Who we share it with
Only where needed to deliver your project or run our business: our subcontractors and suppliers (for example, your address and site contact for deliveries and works), building management where works need approval, and service providers who host our website, email and systems on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside Malaysia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data where the law requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we are in discussion with you and for a reasonable period after. Project and accounting records are kept for as long as needed for warranty, after-sales and legal and tax purposes.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to us using it (although we may then be unable to continue some services). Contact us using the details below.
Security
Our systems use encrypted connections, private client links and access controls for staff. If you receive a private portal or signing link from us, please do not share it.
